They say the mother of all invention is necessity. I am a conjure woman and a healer because I personally have had the need to connect with spirit for guidance to heal my loved ones. I became a mother at a very young age. At 22, I gave birth to me second child, who was born with a very severe blood disorder. The continuing pain and hospitalizations that he suffered prompted me to find alternative solutions. I was blessed to come across many plant based remedies that alleviated his condition and this was the beginning of my journey into the herbal and spiritual healing arts.
Since then, I have helped many friends and family members use the energies of plants and spirit to completely resolve or alleviate a myriad of ailments. I also became a certified Reiki II healer, an ordained minister, and I began learning as much as I could about the healing power of mother earth, universe and spirit. In this "Health & Spirit" section of my blog, I will be a sharing a collection of personal stories about my journey in hopes of inspiring others to discover alternative solutions for their personal health that may be added to what they are already doing.
