Disney Heroes: Battle Mode Mods Tips & Tricks You Must Know
Important: It will cost hero chips to equip & upgrade mods, so always follow the priority:-
Always add stars first as adding starts will increase all stats of hero & mod will increase only one stat
If you have a hero at red rank, then just unlock red skill & level skill after your hero is at 6 star
If your hero is at 6 stars, then you should level red skill first if red skill fails on the hero level & then add mods. There may be some exception as sometimes red skill is not much of use, for that you can message me anytime about your query
Equipping mods will boost characters' stats & sometimes make a decent hero into overpowered toons if modded perfectly. There are 3 types of mods:-
Healing Power Mods - HP Mods ( Circle shape mods )
These mods give extra HP to toon which increases as the mod level increases. You can further add upgrades to mods which will boost toons stats. There are 3 types of upgrades for each type of mods, for HP mod you can add the following upgrades:-
Shield upgrade
Armor Upgrade
Reality Upgrade
Skill Power Mods - SP Mods ( Diamond shape mods )
These mods give extra Skill Power to the toon which increases as the mod level increases. You can further add upgrades to mods which will add +10 level to toon's skill ( green, blue, purple ). For SP mod you can add the following upgrades:-
Green Skill Level Upgrade
Blue Skill Level Upgrade
Purple Skill Level Upgrade
Basic Damage Mods - BD Mods ( Square shape mods )
These mods give extra Basic Damage to the toon which increases as the mod level increases. You can further add upgrades to mods which will increase toon's stat as per upgrade type. For BD mod you can add the following upgrades:-
Normal Crit Stat
Fantastic Crit Stat
Attack Speed
Mods can be leveled up to +10 currently, which requires a hell of hero chips. let's see from where you can get Mods:-
Each Invasion will give one Mod of that Color like blue invasion will drop Blue Mod
Invasion Supply Crate - You can get 3 mods from these crates if you Buy All 5 Level Crates from diamonds. Whether you are whale or F2P or Dolphin, Only Buy First level Mod with 240 Diamonds
Reason: If you are F2P, just save your diamonds for MegaMart, if you are whale you have to spend 1160 Diamonds to get one more Mod & extra +5200 if you want to get one more Mod & you already know how much these diamond costs, also mod you will get will be only +1 level mod.
So, don't spend diamonds on Invasion Supply Crate, just buy first level crate & better Buy Hero Chip & Mod Deal which will give Hero Chips, 2 Mods at +8 level already, 3 10x Crates, 1799 Diamonds & VIP rings just for approx. $25
Mod Deals - This is the best way as you can get +8 level mods at a good price - only for Whales.
Resources Required to Upgrade Mods
Mod Power - you can get this from invasion tiers & rank rewards, contest, by doing dailies, level-up crates, slinky crates & deals
Hero Chips - A hell of Chips, for +1 you need 20 hero chips & then +30 for +2, +40 for +3, +50 for +4 & so on..
So, better use feeder toons chips ( chips which you have in excess for toons you don't use like Ralph, Yax, etc. ) And, you just need +25 chips of the main hero to attune your Mod whether your mod is at +1 or +8 level.
I personally use this strategy to level my mods to +10, I have lots of trash hero chips which I use for upgrading chips.
