Asan Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Football Association (owner Park Kyung-gui, CEO Lee Joon-il, and Asan Chungcheongnam-do) held an opening ceremony on Monday (Monday) to announce the participation of Hana Bank K League 2 2024 at the Yi Sun-shin Sports Complex and Memorial Hall. The first part held a rite of exorcism at the Yi Sun-shin Sports Complex, and had time to read the opening speeches of Lee Joon-il, CEO of Asan in South Chungcheong Province, and Kim Hyun-seok, who expressed their willingness to promote the new administration. In the second part, the team visited the memorial temple of Admiral Yi Sun-shin, and all the participants, including Asan Mayor Park Kyung-gui, made group visits to the statue of Admiral Yi Sun-shin, and once again strengthened their commitment for the new season. After paying respect to the shrine, they toured the Admiral Yi Sun-shin Memorial Hall and the old house of Chungmu-gong, Chungui-moon, Hong Sal-moon, and Chungmu-gong, and wrapped up the event after taking a group photo.
On the 15th (Thursday), Asan, Chungcheongnam-do, unveiled its uniform for the 2024 season, honoring the sublime of Admiral Yi Sun-shin. In particular, by producing a field kit based on the red color of Admiral Yi Sun-shin's uniform, he commemorated the Sungwoong Yi Sun-shin Festival, which has been in Asan City, the club's hometown for more than 60 years, and expressed the firmness and urgency of the players who inherited the responsibility of Admiral Yi Sun-shin's "life-and-death" spirit.
"Since I have made up my mind before Admiral Yi Sun-shin, I hope that I will do my best on the ground and instill strength and courage in the 350,000 Asan citizens," said Asan Mayor Park Kyung-gwi, owner of Chungnam Asan. Meanwhile, Asan, Chungcheongnam-do, will play its home opening game of "Hana Bank K League 2 2024" against Bucheon FC1995 at 4:30 p.m. on March 9 (Saturday) at Yi Sun-shin Stadium. As it is the first game to welcome home fans this season, the home game will be held with invited performances by various singers and generous prize events.
