On planet of Il Grande Giardino di Nascita or "The Great Garden of Birth", there are persons with special abilities bestowed on them after proving themselves worthy.
In order to attain these abilities, their last task is to walk through the Gate of Ascension - a final "test of the soul".
It is said that walking through the gate reveals the an individual's true intentions with whatever abilities they gain. For those who have done well in disguising their intent, the gate is the ultimate lie detector, which will deem them unworthy and cast them out with nothing.
This is a sketch of how the gate might end up looking. However, because I'm not great at landscape art nor structures, I'll probably hire someone to do the final illustration when the time comes.
