While living in San Diego, I studied jazz piano from a blind man in Los Angeles. I would drive to L.A. every week for my piano lesson; my lessons were usually 5 hours long, then I would have dinner and go to the piano bar where he was playing and sit another 4 hours as he explained and played examples of the chords and styles he was teaching me. I would drive back to San Diego at 2:00 am high on music. He taught me to visualize the keyboard because the brain had to know what the notes were before the fingers would move to the proper keys on the piano. I could choose what music I wanted to play, but had to learn it in every key before going on to the next song.

Having performed around the world and for two Presidents, the Prime Minister of England, and with so many jazz greats I prefer the music of Broadway and the West End. I also prefer playing for vocalists and various shows.

Currently performing in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico has become quite a challenge for everyone; many of the clubs have closed due to the pandemic, and those that have managed to survive cannot afford to pay the performers. That being said, your support will help pay for the expenses of each performance, including: leasing the sound system, transportation of all the equipment to and from the venue, payments to all those that help along the way, the live streaming of each event, and possibly a mango smoothie now and then too.
