Hi, I'm Sumit, a software engineer.

I build backend systems, data pipelines, developer tools and AI-powered applications. Most of my work is in Python: Django, FastAPI and Flask for APIs, Celery for async processing, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB and Redis for data, and Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD to ship it all. Lately I've been spending a lot of time on LLM applications and agent workflows.

Outside of work, I keep experimenting: side projects, open-source tools, and small technical experiments, mostly to understand how things really work.

I write about what I learn along the way: backend development, system design, DSA and LeetCode, Kubernetes and DevOps, AI experiments, and the lessons that come from building real things.

I like building useful things and sharing what I figure out, so the next person has an easier time.
