Foxwoods Resort Casino, the Northeast's premier entertainment destination, today announced that it will host the 8th Annual ComiCONN, Connecticut's largest comic book and pop culture convention. Presented in partnership with Altered Reality Entertainment, LLC, the convention will make its Foxwoods debut on 10-11 June as part of the property's amped up 25th Anniversary entertainment slate.

The two-day convention will feature celebrity appearances from film stars, TV personalities and industry-leading comic book artists. Headlining guests include two WWE Hall of Famers: 16-time World Champion, WCW World Heavyweight Champion and pop culture luminary Ric "Nature Boy" Flair, and four-time Women's Champion Amy Dumas, also known as Lita. Other guests include prolific comic writer Jim Shooter, the former editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics who has also worked on titles including The Amazing Spiderman, The Avengers and Daredevil.

Fans can also enjoy the industry's leading toy and collectible vendors, as well as cosplay competitions and events. Additional ComiCONN guests and activities will be announced in the months leading up to the convention.

"We are thrilled to welcome ComiCONN to Foxwoods for the first time during our 25th Anniversary, bringing a uniquely fun and interactive experience to property for fans of comics, TV, wrestling, and more," said Monique Sebastian, Vice President of Entertainment & Entertainment Marketing at Foxwoods Resort Casino.
