Atlantic City, New Jersey - It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort kicked off an eight-day run of "Light of Liberty," a colorful laser, flame technology, and music show created and produced by world-famous German light artist Gert Hope. The event will take place until Aug. 2 at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m., in the sky above Atlantic City's famous boardwalk. Each show will feature dazzling light effects and a rousing soundtrack of Bruce Springsteen hits.
The incredible climax of "Light of Freedom" is the projection of the world's largest American flag into the ocean sky. This monumental flag display is accompanied musically by the classic Springsteen Anthem Born in the USA.
"It was incredible; the sky over the city was transformed into a moving piece of art that actually flashed," explains Steve Gietka, vice president of Trump Casino Resort entertainment. "Nothing like it has been seen anywhere in the United States before. With The Light of Freedom, the Trump Taj Mahal made entertainment history."
Highlighting the importance of the piece, which is expected to be viewed by more than 2 million people in total by Aug. 2, Atlantic City's large-scale boardwalk went dark during the early show. It was the first time since World War II that the lights on the boardwalk were turned off. 릴게임
"Light of Freedom" is Hope's American debut. He has previously wooed spectators with performances from regions including the Acropolis in Athens, the Danube River basin in Budapest, and Beijing, where he became the first foreigner to direct China's national celebrations with his millennium celebrations. Reuters described the "Asian millennium event" in China on Jan. 1, 2001, with over 4 million live viewers, as an artistic "world experience."
The ideal viewing angle for "Light of Liberty" is along the south side of the boardwalk. Spectators will see a breathtaking dance and swirling palette of lights produced by batteries meticulously choreographed with more than a hundred 7,000 watts of lighting located atop Trump's Taj Mahal.
Trump The Taj Mahal, one of the largest casinos in the world, covering 17 acres along the Atlantic Crossing and rising more than 420 feet from the coast, was opened by Donald Trump in 1990. With 1,250 rooms, including 237 suites, 22 ballrooms and conference rooms, and a stadium that can accommodate more than 5,000 people, the Taj Mahal offers splendor within the grand tradition of the most beautiful palace in the world, representing an investment of $1 billion.
