Minimalism is living with more (???)

Minimalism is living with more (???)

Jun 02, 2020

Being a minimalist doesn't have to always mean living with less stuff.

Although I admit, some minimalists are too deeply in love with that idea. Sometimes they take it too far, I guess.

But you can always just focus on the main principle of this philosophy (or lifestyle, if you may) which is 'to live with stuff that truly matters to you'.

However, people can always end up having their own interpretation of this principle behind minimalism. Which is actually just fine if it works for them.

Personally, I'd rather just focus on the things, people, and areas of my life that I consider of great value to me. If this would mean keeping just a few clothes or pair of pants, 'unfriending' of toxic people, removing apps on my phone, or just taking a shower once a week (just kidding, I think) then I'll consider it.

I will do this not because of the sole purpose of living with less BUT because I want to live with those that I truly value. And this is something I recommend people should do too.
