If I have to pick an identity, especially as I near the end of my formal career, I guess I would say I am a writer and a visual artist. I write on Medium, own and edit the Cathedral Canyon Review, curate my photography at the @PositiveSpace Gallery, and occasionally I write a book. I also have an occasional podcast called Zoo Taxi. You can find my entire portfolio of stock photography to download for free on Upsplash.
I am a career Hospital-Hospice Chaplain and Unitarian Universalist Community Minister, and I currently serve as Director of the Center for Grief and Bereavement at Reliance Hospice in Palm Desert, California. I also preach and teach from time to time in Southern California. I have a small and selective counseling and spiritual direction practice specializing in grief and LGBTQ issues; if this interests you, I would love to talk.
For fun, I enjoy reading, drone flying, adventure travel, having a small ownership share of a Temecula winery, being a climate activist, being with my husband, and playing with our cats. I am obsessed by the Salton Sea and Julia Child’s cooking.
If you are finding some value in my work, please consider supporting it with a donation. Thanks in advance!
