So, after much time talking about it I have finally made a DrawShield video!
I'm aware that it is a little rough in places, and it took quite a lot of work to produce but I did enjoy the process and hope that the end result is useful.
Now that I have the production process in place I'd like to produce further videos in 3 "themes":
Blazonry Tutorial
A linked series of videos taking the viewer from the basics of blazonry through to advanced concepts, including interesting bits of history and example blazons. Not specifically DrawShield related, although I'll be trying to ensure that the examples used can be drawn on the Create Page.
DrawShield Tutorial
A set of independent videos each covering one aspect of the use of DrawShield and some of the website, so things like "Setting Preferences", "Managing Blazons", "Finding Charges", "The Heraldic Dictionaries" and so on.
DrawShield News
A monthly(?) "magazine" type presentation that will cover any of the following topics:
Latest DrawShield Developments
Feedback on recent error reports
Highlighting recent gallery submissions
Items in the news related to heraldry
Interviews, links to other sites and anything that looks interesting
All this sounds a bit ambitious and I'm not sure how much time I'll be able to dedicate to this but I'll do what I can. If anyone wants to contribute something or has any ideas and auggestions please get in touch!
