Back in January of 2018, I had rekindled my love of reading. I had become busy with working full time and handling college burnout that I had taken a break from reading.

Then when I moved in with my fiancé my already suffering mental health got worse, so I checked myself into the local mental hospital. While there, I picked up a book and fell back in love with reading again. That's where I got the idea to start a blog reviewing the books I read.

My mental health is something I've always struggled with. I have Bipolar Depressive Disorder. On my last visit to the mental hospital, I was diagnosed with Major Depressive disorder. Basically my "mania" is most peoples' "Normal".

Books and other types of media are pretty much my only escape from the memories and thoughts in my head. Even my dreams are anxiety-filled nightmares. I often dream about being lost either in a warehouse or in a gigantic mall and the lights are turned off and the place is closed.

So I understand times are difficult, believe me, I know, but I try my best. I know that's all I can do. Just try again tomorrow if things don't work out today.
