DIY LARGE SIZE TEXTURE ART!
watch me transform an old piece of Ikea wall art into a large scale texture art piece.
the surface of this canvas was pretty slick so I first applied a skim coat of product to cover everything and let it dry until it was tacky. then the fun begins! I drop more product in blobs and drizzles and finally straight from the can to get enough to pull a tool through it, making a simple design of parallel lines across the surface.
it dries for 2 days and then I touch up the bits where the original canvas shows through and it dries for another day. now I have the right piece for a spot where it will reflect light and be the perfect minimalist canvas.
