Arabian Dreams

Aug 09, 2022

¡Hola!

Hello!

Now I come to tell you that this weekend I participated in an event in Tlaxcala called Arabian Dreams. As always I am very grateful to Fabiola Hernandez, organizer of the event (I share her social networks at the end).

For me, participating in this event was a source of learning and coexistence. On the one hand I had the opportunity to meet again with some teachers who taught courses, such as Veronica Vital from Puebla, my teacher in the past; Daniela Gomez from Mexico City, with whom I had already had the opportunity to take classes before in other events; and Menekse Rove, from Zacatecas, and former colleague of the certification by the Arabian Dance School. I was also able to spend some time with other teachers and great dancers who, like me, were part of the show, such as Nadxieeli, from Puebla, teacher and my very talented and inseparable friend; Gabriela Hernández, from Mexico City, whom I had not had the opportunity to meet before and who enchanted me with her companionship; and Aranzazú García, from Tlaxcala, teacher and dancer, former partner of the EPDA (Escuela Profesional de Danza Árabe en Puebla).

On the other hand, there was learning. I had not previously had the opportunity to participate in an event like this, I learned a little more about myself by learning by video the group choreographies in which I would participate, as well as being part of the rehearsal ensemble for the event. I had the opportunity to observe details that left me with some reflections and to get to know improvisation from a different point of view than what is usually done. I share with you the poster of participation, I can't promise video on YouTube, but there will be more details about the reflections and experiences for those beautiful people who want to support me with a coffee 😘.
