Pipe dreams are a portal to the soul's expression...
Being perhaps the most prolific pipe dreamer I know, I have been accused at times by those of a more materialist persuasion, of failing to live in the 'real' world. But to me, and many others such as the philosopher Plato, the world of dreams and ideas IS a real world... It simply hasn't manifested into a physical experience yet.
My job as an artist is to facilitate this process of manifestation from the formless into the tangible, material realm. This conjuring process requires equal measures of imagination, faith and audacity...
