I've had the luxury of recording vocals with my favourite fellow creative and retro sound engineer, John Baron Kent (aka The Barön). John was the lead guitarist in many of my previous bands and produced my 1st EP. We set up the Honeytone Recordings label for Emberhoney releases and built a studio and a theatre together when we lived in a shared house with our band.
The Barön, as many affectionately call him, has a phenomenal talent in both music and visual art so I work with him in every creative context whenever he is available. It has been very tricky to co-ordinate collaborations lately because he is in demand with his job but whenever we work together you can guarantee magic will ensue. ;)
You will also see his name credited on most of my music videos because of his keen eye for aesthetics and incredible ingenuity when it comes to stage sets, camera and lighting on a budget. You can also see we share a love of all things retro, from guitars to fashion...
We're hoping to have the opportunity to work together more as my fanbase grows and I can afford to pay him for more of his time. 🤞
