About Me

My name is Kim, and I am an English language teacher based in San Diego, California! I love making the English language fun and accessible for my students. I have been teaching for 14 years, first in public schools, and now I teach English full time online. Making the leap was an easy decision for me. I love working with children but my true passion is working with adults. Meeting people from around the world has been such a wonderful experience. My students come from the Ukraine, China, Japan, Korea, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and more. I can't imagine a better way to learn about so many cultures!

I, myself, love to learn languages! I am learning Spanish, and just started to Portuguese. Traveling is also a favorite hobby of mine. Additionally, I enjoy surfing, rock climbing, and snowboarding. My husband and I are very active!
