Death day of a National Hero as time of Celebration?

Dec 30, 2022

As of this writing it is the 30th of December 2022 which falls on the 128 Death Anniversary of our National Hero which is the same age of our Independence Day from the Colonial Rule.

I see Dr. Jose Protasio Rizal Mercado Y Alonzo Realonda who was born on June 19,1681 in Calamba, Laguna as an 18th Century Blogger. His wide knowledge and wisdom at that time have touched many Filipino that even up to his death people created cult in his Honor.

I will not talk about the life of Rizal here, but I just wonder why our Government institutionalize the death of certain hero? Jose died on December 30, 1896- 2 years before Philippine Independence was declared and on 1898 President Emilio Aguinaldo declared that every 30th of December will be a National Day of Mourning not only for Jose Rizal's death but also to all the Victims of the Spanish Colonial Rule of the Philippines. This day is not a day of Celebration but it is a day of protest in shouting for Justice. Indeed people celebrate the life and work of Rizal for our country and emulate it in this present generation.

But the question here does the work of Rizal becomes effective? So as all the works of our National Heroes in liberating the Filipino People from the Colonial Rule becomes effective? We may not speak now Spanish but we were forwarded by Spain to the Americans that's why our Legal Conversation is done in English Language. And the form of Government we implement are still under the Spanish and American Influence. Even the Name of our Nationality as Filipino is what we inherit from the Original meaning that a Child who was born by a Spanish Couple and raised in the Archipelago is called Filipino. But the Natives of the Land at that time were called Indio. Will that mean that all the Filipino who lives in the Philippines are all foreigners as a residue of the Spanish people who lives in our Archipelago?

This might be the reason why most Filipino seems lost and have no Idea of our Cultural Identity. And the natives or the Indigenous People are struggling to fight for their ancestral domain so as of their Culture and Identity. Colonization have changed us Tremendously that we loose our sense of Who we are. And as of this Writing, it makes me think if I am a Native or a Filipino which is of Spanish Origin.

The 500 years of Colonization of Spain in our Country is difficult to break. Even our Great Heroes Identity is now immersed on Mystery such as his name Jose Protasio Rizal Mercado Y Alonzo Realonda is very hispanized.

If only Babaylan Tamblot succeded on his Religious Revolution on 1621 and was not massacred by the Spanish Conquistadores on January 1622, we would still know and enjoy our indigenous spiritual beliefs and practices.

If you are reading this, I Implore you to light a Candle on the 31st of December before Sun Down and ask the Diwatang Aysono ( The Diwata of Babaylang Tamblot) to give light and guidance even that our Ancient Babaylan died in the Past, Our Diwata will still guide us through in the Spiritual Revolution that we are taking now in this Present Generation.

If you are one with us who also work to liberate our souls from Spiritual Colonization that been infused to our Souls, Help us spread our works here at Filipino Magick. Continue to support us in Decolonizing our Soul from the Foreign Religion. Help us uncover the mask of our old gods hidden to us by our Colonizers.

By 2023, we plan to do these first to uncover Amansinaya from the mask that been put unto her by the Spanish Friars as Our Lady of Guidance in Ermita, Manila; so as the mask that been put into the image of Dayang Masalanta, Bathala and Lakapati as Sta. Clara de Assisi, San Pascual Baylon and Nuestra Senyora dela Immaculada Conception de Salambao in Obando, Bulacan.
