Diwata are different from Fairies, as Fairies are elemental little creatures with wings originating from European Myth which is similar to sprites.
As i remember the articles that I read about Elemental Magick, these sprites or fairies comes out every after rain or typhoon, we can see their portals through a water patch that can be found on the street and they say it is called as Fairy Hole.
In the Philippines, these fairies were known as Lambana but most often they were mistakenly called as Diwata. Lambana probably is a creation that comes from the Galang Kaluluwa or Wondering Soul that is part of the Primeval Trinity together with Ulilang Kaluluwa/ Orphaned Soul which is a cloud serpent God and Bathala which is the ruler of Earth. Though the belief in Lambana has faded already so as in the Diwata due to the influence of modern religion in the Philippines.
Though from the article that i have read when i started Journeying in the craft, i remember that these fairies loves when people gather together such as in merry making, singing, and dancing so as in playing games. In working with the Diwata is the same.
This month, we have invoked the Diwata of the Katagalugan people which is Bathala and as i worked with him before, i noticed that he likes people who works with him sing in invoking his blessings. Bathala asked me to sing, but as I responded that I do not know what to sing and how to sing. But Bathala insist that I should sing and say that I should not worry about what to sing and how to sing because He is Bathala that could give inspiration and ability to us in manifesting everything we want to happen thus the word Bahala na was formed.
So with full trust, I allow my self covered up with Bathala's will and the words of the song came to me and they are the following:

So there i have made a song in calling Bathala and now Bathala ask to put Music and Choreography in that song but I say to him that it is already beyond my ability but Bathala says do not worry ask the People who Loves Bathala to make it as Bathala is also calling you.
So if you are a follower of Bathala and worship him secretly in your lives, now is a chance for you to shine up and be blessed more by Bathala, like my early post, i have nothing to give you in exchange but the Blessings of Bathala is abundant and I pray that his grace will overflow to you!
