Peregrine is a Third Person, Action RPG, Hack and Slash, Fantasy game.
‘Peregrine’ is a new amazing hack-and-slash, third-person action RPG game that is heavily inspired by souls-like games. The game takes place in a fictional world where you travel between lands looking to destroy Abbadon, the Cursed King. The enemies all have their different amazing designs and abilities. This hack and slash game will keep you engaged for hours and hours if you are into any RPG fantasy games. Purging enemies give you souls that enhance your abilities. You can also collect new abilities that increase things like blade damage, flaming enemies when you attack and much more. You can also collect powers to protect yourself from damage while in combat while using dodge to evade attacks or using your shield to block and retaliate against your enemies. You will be using them a lot in this game too as you have to well-time your attacks and blocks.
As you can see from the screenshot above the visuals in this game are just great, and the graphics are really REALLY good. Who would not like to play a well-made RPG hack-and-slash game these days? We actually need more of them as they are very fun to play and this one is a hidden gem.

Story
After escaping from an inevitable death you have been chosen to wield the Desolation Blade. While wielding it you can bring justice to those who brought death and destruction to the earth and enslaved mankind. Using the most powerful weapon that a mortal can wield you’ll purge every enemy until one of the Dominators Kings is destroyed.
Gameplay
The first thing that stands out in this game is the well-done graphics and souls-like gameplay. At first glance, it really reminds you of games such as dark souls, elder ring and such great games. For an indie title, this one really stands out as it keeps the players engaged for hours with its amazing visuals, graphics, story, non-linear gameplay, power-ups, different weapons and more.
Each power you collect also gives you different abilities such as flames from weapons. The combat system is just great as a hack-and-slash where you also have to time your attacks and dodge your enemies. The game is also not that short and takes around 8 – 12 hours to complete (depending on how stuck you get on levels). For the price, I think that is just perfect.
Sounds & Music
The music is beautiful in this game and nothing much more to add. Great engagement music whenever you are in combat or just resting. There is nothing to add as the sound effects in this game are just amazing. Each enemy with its own type of sound effect.
Overall
Overall the game is amazing. The visuals are amazing, the combat is beautiful and the sounds are top-notch. Be warned though, this game is hard and takes the “souls-like” games to a different level. Did we also mention this game is made by ONE DEVELOPER? Man! That is such great work for one developer.
