Small improvements to my ZV-E10 Kit

Jun 25, 2022

I have been using the ZV-E10 quite a lot for various different things and there's something I felt like was missing from the kit, and I have added these now - I am going to get down and on the record and discuss the ins and out of my set up and the improvements I am making.

1 - Audio for a lot of my videos in the studio and even out I have been the internal microphone in the ZV-E10 it's not bad but it's also not totally great, and honestly that doesn't really bother too much it's enough to allow me to get stuff done and that's definitely something that is super important to me. But I will be picking up a Rode Video Micro Microphone for use with the ZV-E10 now.

2 - Cage - Using a small rig cage to allow for extra mounting points and more access for mounting various accessories though I am concerned the cage will add additional un-needed wasted bulk and additional weight to the camera which could be concerning.

3 - Body Caps, if you're switching lens a body cap is handy but there's not one included in the box which sucks, I brought a generic on off Amazon.

4 - Cold/Hot shoe covers, I know they include that wind muff which snaps in to the cold shoe or hot shoe, but at the end of day these covers where fairly cheap.

These are my more small improvements I am making to my Sony ZV-E10 Load out.
