My name is Becky and I’m a Geologist, Science Communicator, Naturalist, and Photographer. I make content about the things I love: rocks, sustainable travel, antiques, books, outdoor recreation - just to name a few! I grew up in Upstate New York and currently live here with my partner of 11 years and our cat. In my free time I like to garden, read, cook, try new hobbies and spend as much time as possible outdoors.

I love to explore our planet’s beautiful places and share their natural history with my audience. I share short-form video content and photography on TikTok & Instagram, and long-form & short-form content on YouTube. My ultimate goal is to awaken the natural curiosity, connection, and fascination that we as humans have with the natural world, and to make science and the outdoors more accessible for all.

In addition to creating social media content, I am the host, producer, and writer of my own free TV show on Hudsy.tv titled 'New York Rocks with Geo Beck'. I also occasionally lead guided geology walks and give talks both virtually and in person.
