Our last real people's birthday of the year is a special one because it's exactly on Christmas Day.
The Kanazawa-born Aya Suzaki became a voice actor because she liked "Detective Conan" when she was in junior high school, and she became interested in the job of a voice actor because she admired Megumi Hayashibara, who played the role of Ai Haibara.
Even after graduating from college, it was difficult for her to decide which office she belonged to, and while she got a job at a general company and worked, she continued to attend a training centre. Although she obtained a teacher's license while she was in school, she said, "I thought it was impossible to study a voice actor while I was a teacher, so I thought during my teaching practice, I became an office lady." She said she had been working part-time for several years after her debut as a voice actor.
In 2013, she played the role of Tamako Kitashirakawa in "Tamako Market" and starred in the TV anime for the first time. She also released a single in her personal name, she was in charge of singing the movie's theme song "Principles".
A year later, she also joined Aikatsu, voicing Mikuru Natsuki from the second season onwards.
