Here we are, after every hardship in the last year, at last, we finally enter the new year.
New Year, New Challenges, New Chances, Same Aikatsu!
Arise, Aikatsu allies!
We have to be grateful that Aikatsu is still pretty much deserved to be in this cruel idol anime world for another year (although one certain franchise, for sure, ruined every other franchise and animes in every single moment possible).
We're not sure which challenges we have to face in 2021 as a whole community, but one thing for sure, that we have to be ready for those challenges, far in our horizon.
For all of us, either as established loyal fans since the franchise started the journey back on October 8, 2012; or as fans who later joined the community in the past 8 or 9 years, no matter how tough the challenges are waiting, we will act as one constructive community, for the best of Aikatsu franchise and their future.
Maybe this is just my hope (or maybe not only me), that Aikatsu will reach 10 years of their long, painful journey, and keep their heads down for years to come, even though this will be an impossible mission for Aikatsu.
And for this year, for the first time in their history, the hybrid-system concept, between anime and live-action will be implemented in their 5th anime named "Aikatsu Planet", which will be aired on January 10.
I know, in spite of the raising negative stigmas when it comes to live-action, why don't we just support their concept as of now? Who knows, that this will be a turning point of the franchise if the series is well received, as well as changing stigmas for live-action. And about the characters, yes, they still have a long, long way to go, but some of them are still adolescent, with the youngest is 14. No joke. So why don't we support them as they are now.
Well, I still want to write more about my hopes for Aikatsu in 2021, but I just can't find any suitable words.
