Hey everyone.

I'd just like to thank each and every one of my supporters for your kindness in helping an old fool chase a lifelong dream. I honestly cannot thank you enough.

It has become clear that in order for me to travel as I intended and have time to bring you the content I'd like to, I need to spend some time putting in place content and services that will allow me to earn an income to fund the travels.

To this end, for the next week or so I'm going to be sited on a site with an electrical hookup so I can crack on and do the work that needs doing. This includes recording some training courses which will be available through my website and also at a discounted rate to my supporters who may benefit from the training courses.

I will of course be getting out and about when possible but I just need the security of having electricity as my solar panels are seriously struggling to generate any useable power during these dull winter days.

I'm currently at Setthorns Campsite near Sway in Hampshire enjoying parts of the new forest. It is one of 12 campsites in the New Forest and really is great for people who enjoy a forest setting and the peacefulness that can bring. Obviously, I am here in Winter and the site is very quiet so I couldn't comment on how busy or noisy it gets in the High Season.

I'm currently editing some of the images I've taken on my outings around the campsite and will post some of these soon along with some videos taken.

Over the next week, I will be visiting (weather allowing) Lymington, Hurst Castle and Milford-on-Sea as these are reachable by bicycle for me.

I'm currently trying to figure out how I can possibly get a motorcycle onboard. Due to my van only being 3.5t rated I cannot put a bike on a bike rack as I would exceed the rear axle limits. So my only real option is to have a towbar fitted and purchase a bike trailer. The problem with this is that if I do this, I'm pretty much forced to use campsites, especially here in England. It's a challenge already trying to find spaces for my van (which incidentally is no longer than a long wheel based Sprinter or Crafter) so having a trailer would make this even more challenging. If I'm successful over the next few weeks in setting up my income streams and I start seeing a steady monthly income, then being permanently on campsites won't be a problem and having a motorcycle will allow me to do far more exploring.

Watch this space 😊

Beeeg hugs

Elton x
