Top 10 Things you need to stay positive in the COVID-19 quarantine

  1. Delicious coffee, either from a coffee pot, french press, or Keurig. (My two preferred methods are the ninja, for the weekend mornings, and my Keurig for my busy weekdays.

  2. Some great reading materials, aka your devotional or bible, or in my case my reader. My favorite authors are as follows. James Patterson, Sarah Dessen, Sue Grafton, Nicholas Sparks, and Janet Evanovich just to name a few.

  3.  Disney Plus is most certainly a must-have, especially in my household. If you don’t love Disney, you’re a weirdo. (just kidding). It most certainly has helped me through this unsettling time.

  4. Having a career that you love, whether you work from home like myself, or are considered an essential employee. I.E., delivery driver, financial advisor, or hospital staff, it’s imperative to find passion in anything you do.

  5. Moving your body. Yep, you heard that right. walk around, do an at-home workout. (Beachbody, or otherwise), and sweat out all the bad things. Negativity, toxins, all of it. Get outside in the sunshine whenever you can.

  6. Facetime people, it's a necessity right now. Check on your friends and family. Make sure everyone is doing okay, and when all of this is said and done, hug them, and hug them tight.

    7. Find a church home. Either through a website or youtube channel and attend church virtually. Dig deep into a bible study. Spending time with the Lord is the best thing you can do for yourself, and others as well.

    8. Drink a protein “milkshake” to fill you up, and keep you from mindlessly snacking in your fridge or pantry. I also recommend protein frappes as well. Some of my favorite recipes are chocolate, PB, and banana and butter toffee Frappuccino.

    6 oz of butter toffee kcup

    8 oz of milk

    9. Play with your dogs, they don’t quite understand why your home 24/7, but they’re just happy to see you. Seeing them wag their tail(s) will certainly help boost your spirit.

    10. Listen to Christian music. I listen to it all the time during my shower, and when I’m editing videos for my channel. Some of my favorite Christian artists to listen to are, Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp, and Sidewalk profits just to name a few.
