5.  The Intermittent Diet

Intermittent diet is in other words intermittent fasting.  In this diet you refrain from food for extended periods of time.  

These periods last between 12 and 40 hours.  However, water and other drinks like coffee and calorie-free beverages are allowed during the fast.
