I make artwork that is driven by my love of stories and of exploring the potential of different materials, especially paper. Past work has included dreamy landscapes made of tiny pieces of Japanese paper, hand carved reliefs in Portland and Bath stone, automata using found objects and hand painted elements and, most recently, stop motion animations. My work is characterised by an attention to minute detail, a playful sense of humour and a narrative undercurrent.
