I’m Merissa Piper and I’m the face behind Heath Street Woodworking. I started woodworking in 2015 when my desire for a new coffee table far outweighed my budget; at the encouragement of a friend I ventured out to make one for myself, and I was instantly hooked on the building experience. I began my journey with very few tools and a whole lot of low-grade lumber, but I have since expanded my arsenal to a full-blown wood shop and a passion for the highest quality hardwoods I can get my hands on.

Although woodworking is my passion, I am a maker at heart! You’ll see me making everything from custom furniture to custom apparel and glassware. The possibilities are endless when you are doing what you love!!
