Mobilizing people, resources and nations for the purpose of proclaiming the Gospel as I move.
While some people have business as the gateway to the preaching of the Gospel in different countries, Education is the door that has opened for me. In addition, the missionary vocation does not restrict (or, at least, should not) anyone from dedicating themselves to studies. In fact, the challenge of living the vocation in modern times requires that Church develop a public theology that dialogues with society and makes the message we announce understandably. This challenge is even more required on the missionary as his duties have greater intentionality in communicating the good news.
I was accepted into a university in Portugal to do a Masters's in Communication. The research area I intend to research has everything to do with what I have been experiencing in these missions all these years, and I believe that it will only add even more to the future scenario to connect with the youth. Unfortunately, it is not free education, so I must confess that more than ever, I will need support in every way. The beginning of classes is scheduled for Oct 4th.
Regarding ministry, we are praying in order to find the best strategy for this beginning. To pioneer something by itself is quite a task, as much as let alone implement something in another culture. It takes a lot of discernment from God, which is what I've been asking for.
Currently, my primary expenses are:
Tuition Fees (135€/month)
Accommodation (250€/month)
Transportation (35€/month)
Health Care (it can vary but the base is around 80€/month)
Groceries (100€/month but it can vary as well)
