This episode is one of those milestone moments where you really feel things coming together. We have wanted to have video with our podcast for as long as I can remember, but I just couldn’t figure it out, until now. We finally have video!
Now it may not seem too important to have video for a mostly audio driven platform like podcasting, but given how Keith and I make gestures and faces to try to lighten up our topics or really “sell” our jokes we are over the moon. I think this is a third dimension in how we can deliver content and I think it will increase the overall listener experience if we can execute it well.
I don’t have much experience with recording and editing footage yet, but as I get better with it I really expect that video will become our most interacted platform. Today’s video is a basic one-shot camera angle, no color correction or anything, so it’s as basic as possible. But if you enjoy it, just know that it’s only up from here!
