Defining Ministry Side B shouldn't be a surprise to anyone in Ministry. However, Side B is most often the last thing leaders think of when getting into ministry. So let's define Side B.
Working Definition of Ministry Side B: The Backend, Nuts and Bolts of the Business of Ministry.
Kinda simple right...? Not so for everyone.
A little about myself before we continue:
I am Wes Henry and I have been in ministry for over 20 years. I have had the privilege of working with some great leaders in both small towns and big cities. I currently pastor a church in South Seattle area called Renton. I have held just about every position in ministry that there is; Children's Pastor, Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, Lead Pastor, Board Chairman, Sound guy, Media lead, Small Group lead, Worship Leader, Facilities maintenance lead... just to name a few. I have also labored in construction for many years, which lends to the design aspect of creating ministry spaces/environments that are as appealing as they are functional.
I have learned many lessons over the years. Some from my own decisions and actions, and many from the decisions and actions of others. This is the reason I have chosen to venture out and create Ministry Side B. I want to help those in ministry avoid common pitfalls and even teach/share successes to build your ministry to help grow the Kingdom.
Thanks for joining this journey with me.
