To Sandal on Sunday for the Under 18 Girls County Tournament between Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cheshire and Durham. The day was reasonably bright although the clouds descended later in the afternoon. Even so, everyone had a great time, regardless of results.
Speaking of scores, Yorkshire didn’t manage to cross the tryline too many times but they fought hard and competed well throughout their games.
One particular highlight was a solo running try from Lucy Gregg (Twitter info) of Old Crossleyans. Could this be the same player who scored a try at Woodhouse Grove in February 2020? You decide.
