Us locals of Oxenhope were out and about yesterday afternoon, enjoying the sunshine and basking in the glow of a top performance from our village cricket team.
Playing at home, the Oxenhope first XI restricted visitors Sowerby St Peters to a modest 83. The ensuing batting display had the necessary runs knocked off in double quick time with the loss of only one wicket.
ickledot’s still getting used to cricket photography. This week he abandoned the plan of shooting wicket to wicket and moved round to around midway between the two.
