It was back to rugby this weekend following a couple of cricketing Saturdays. Not sure whether this day of rugby 7s was one of the final events of season 2021-22 or a curtain raiser for 2022-23 but it was certainly played at a high tempo with skill and enthusiasm a-plenty. People were out to have a good time as well and took advantage of the food and liquid refreshment on offer.
Though it was held at the home of Sheffield Tigers, the main organisers of the event were from Sheffield RUFC. It was a great day out, despite the overcast skies and occasional rain showers. Unfortunately ickledot needed to leave shortly before the end so no final results from him. However, he was present for around four hours though so there are plenty more photos to see here.
