Hello! How are you? I'm fine but very lazy because of extreme hot weather. My motivation was very low lately. I decided to try new art supplies to bring my motivation back so, last week I bought new coloured pencils and gouache sets.
Today I want to share some process images with you.
This drawing was for a "draw this in your style" challenge by @/littlerosesart on Instagram.
I sketched the character on 300gsm watercolor paper with mechanical pencil first. Then, I slightly erased the sketch and lined it with Faber Castel red pencil.
For base coloring, I used watercolors. I use St. Petersburg White Nights and Kuretake Gansai Tambi sets.
I applied light washes everywhere. Then, I added one more layer for shaded areas.
Finally I added added textures and lineart with coloured pencils. I use Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils.
Here is the final result!
I still need more practise to achieve the result I imagine but I really enjoy the process. I hope you like this post too. See you again! ππ»ββοΈ
