FIVE (5) DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ENTREPRENEURS AND EMPLOYEES

Jun 19, 2021

The differences between entrepreneurs and employees does not only limit to the fact that entrepreneurs own businesses and employees seek jobs or employees rely on paychecks while entrepreneurs believe in profit.

There are many things that Create that big difference. But note that non can't survive without the other.

So here are the differences below.

1. LATE NIGHTS:

✓ ENTREPRENEURS. True entrepreneurs sleep less at night. When everyone is sleeping is the best time to think, write prototypes, pitch deck, business plan and business strategies.

✓ EMPLOYEES. This is the best time to show your boss that you're the best employee in the company. By working harder to accomplish your assignments/tasks before the end date.

Note. If you can't build your own future then someone else can employ you to help build their's. Don't be silly.

2. LEADERSHIP/BOSS-MAN-SHIP:

✓ ENTREPRENEURS. Real entrepreneurs, I mean the "street smart entrepreneurs" are leaders. They're mostly kind and humble. They lead their employees and team with the vision and mission of the company to keep the culture of the business so it will run itself even when they (business owners) are dead.

EMPLOYEES. They're mostly bosses. Like the general manager, managing director, supervisor down to cleaners.

They impose laws on their subordinates as set up in the company's code of conducts and disciplinary documents. they do it mostly to please the bosses above them in the organogram.

3. THE NAME OF MONEY:

✓ ENTREPRENEURS. business people call it "INCOME". Income is the cash that flows into the company's bank account daily, weekly, monthly and yearly and it the life of the company. If it cuts the business will die Imediately.

Note. The employees don't care if your business dies or not so play not with your income.

✓ EMPLOYEES. These people call it "SALARY" this is what great students like MBAs, HRs and accountant generals Spent half of their lives from kindergarten to university for. They will take the life of your business if you continue to hold their salary.

4. REASON:

✓ ENTREPRENEURS. These people see a problem, lapses or gap in the world/market which if not solved will continue to be an obstacle in the society and then they'll prepare themselves to fight and solve that issue Either in the form of goods or services. and make life easier for everyone by paying them for it in cash. In short entrepreneurs make money by solving a problem or filling a gap in the world.

✓ EMPLOYEES. They work for entrepreneurs, government or organizations with the sole aim of taking paychecks at the end of the week, or month. To solve ONLY their own personal problems or the family problems. They'll prefer to work rather than Create.

5. TIME:

✓ ENTREPRENEURS. Entrepreneurs can sacrifice 5-10 years of working/building and spending their accumulated fortune without getting back anything instantly but will still be motivated and willing to give in more effort without complaining and time and when the break through finally comes booooom! They become millionaires and billionaires retire at 30 with a great fortune.

✓ EMPLOYEES. They'll prefer to work day and night for forty years (40 yrs) taking paychecks at the end of every month and retire broke at 60 with a lot of jargons.

The list can go on and on and on. But I hope these 5 most have given you some insights on the subject matter.
