Artists and their cats: Gustav Klimt style
We will be continuing with Artists and their cats. This time we will create mixed media art of us and our cats in Klimt style. This session will include some reading material and reference guide for you to try Klimt at home. You will need water colours / sketch pens, a picture of yourself . Indu is an artist, author and art teacher. Her work gives colour, shape, and texture to what remains unseen and unheard in our society -- stories of body, desire, love, longing, and belonging.
Indu’s work has been exhibited globally at locations including Kunsthalle Bremen, Germany, The Biennial of Illustrations, Bratislava, and the Kochi Muziris Biennale. Major global media outlets have extensively covered her people-powered art projects.
She has written and illustrated ten books for children, a colouring book for adults, and contributed to various anthologies. She is currently working on her first graphic novel.
