Most of the time people promote running to lose weight, right? But that's not the only way you can do it. Studies have shown that if you walk briskly for 30 minutes every day, you can burn up to 150 calories a day. I'm a numbers girl. In my head I am multiplying that number. If I burned 150 calories a day just by walking briskly for 30 minutes and multiply that by 7 for the number of days Ina week. That equals 1050 calories. Then if you take that 1050 calories and multiply it by 4 for the 4 weeks in the month, that gives you over 4000 calories! They say a pound equals 3500 calories.

Just by walking briskly every day for 30 minutes without any changes to my diet, I can lose a little bit more than a pound every month. Now imagine if you changed your diet to incorporate more whole foods, and you did the 80/20 diet where 80% of your diet is clean whole unprocessed foods and the other 20% is your treats. Can you imagine the changes that will take place in your body?
