David is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences and Technology and a certificate in Health Care Informatics and Digital Arts and Culture.

With a passion for learning ways in which technology can help those in need, David began writing about 21st century problems in June of 2020. He has volunteered with youth programs and donates 10% of all proceeds from his website (www.informedoptimist.com) towards charities that meet Effective Altruism standards.

He is an avid reader, humanist, and traveler looking to experience the world one culture at a time.
