I'm so grateful that you are here, and hope that you receive as much support as you need participating in this community. Yoga Nidra is not a typical guided meditation as it seems to work in some way for most everyone who tries it!

It is done lying down comfortably on your back at any time of day (most use it to fall asleep, where it can still do extensive work on the superconscious), and results can vary from basic grounding to the ✨ cosmic ✨, in support of your sovereign connection to divinity and creativity. I'll tell you a story from just the other day:

When you let go of certain fears, more responsibility tends to come in! This happens to me in life quite a bit, and it's a good problem to have as I become responsible for bigger and bigger projects that require increased creative problem solving, some of which can be a little overwhelming or seemingly impossible.

That's why I wrote the "Finding Solutions" yoga nidra, because it wasn't just me that was having this issue. Everyone deals with puzzles in their day to day and it is helpful to zoom out and look at them from a detached (yoga nidra) space. On one particularly stressful week, I was feeling a bit out of my element. Can I really figure out another way to do this? Yes, it's always possible to find another way. But I needed to calm down first. So one morning I set aside 45 minutes before work to listen. What I noticed afterwards was: 1) I immediately went to my desk and looked at the "puzzle" very calmly, 2) I was focused on solving that problem in particular from a curious instead of challenged place, and 3) I actually did come up with an alternative solution (that arguably had been there all along, if I hadn't been stressing so much)

Too good to be true, I know. Did it directly help me solve my problem? For now, it did- providing me another option for something I had previously thought was set in stone. We'll see how the situation progresses...

If you are a member, at any time especially since this community is small, feel free to voice your needs: ask for deep work or help around specific goals as I am here to help guide you in this closed circle, especially if you have already been doing Yoga Nidra as sadhana and are familiar with the system. If you haven't, I'll repost some basic tips that I use myself.

What is sadhana?

The Co-Create series (or any of the public Yoga Nidras, really) are a great introduction to those who would like to begin practicing yoga nidra as sadhana, or a daily spiritual practice:

  • Take the root practice, and repeat 1x / day for at least 7 days

  • Repeat with the other practices

  • Or, do a different one each day for at least 7 days

Take note of any impacts, or discuss and ask questions in the comments!
