I'm a radio lifer. I found my true calling after trying various endeavors. Grad school didn't work for me. I love music and sports, and radio, so I figured out a way to do all three (with some help of course).
We set up Acid Flashback radio in 2012. It is streaming Internet radio station whose format is a psychedelic blend of classic, prog rock, new wave, indie rock, jam bands, reggae, blues, and jazz. Our focus is on mixing popular songs with live versions, outtakes, deep cuts, rarities, and covers to bring the listener back to the days of album rock and free form radio. All the music is hand curated and mixed with pop culture references to create a one of a kind listening experience.
In 2018, we launched InternetFM, to provide a platform not just for Acid Flashback, but for other online radio stations who shared our values of large libraries, few, or no commercials, and a professional sounding presentation.
To date, we have forty-six different stations, ranging from rock, to country, jazz, alternative, jam band, blues, oldies, and ambient formats.
Our app is easy to use, because it was designed by radio people, not computer programmers.
You can customize any of the eighteen pre-set buttons, choose your color, and create a list of favorite artists.
We provide this app for free, but it costs us money to develop, stream, and pay licensing fees to legally broadcast music.
We need your help to offset these costs, primarily the licensing, which now runs to over $2700 a year.
