About Jackson Damian
I am a climate advocate and psychotherapist. I provide a psychological perspective on the collective madness that creates dangerous climate change and what can be done to provoke us all into meaningful action at last.
I have enough post-graduate education to understand climate science without being able to perform experiments myself. I am alarmed by the undeniable fact that climate scientists' insistence on reporting only what their slow-paced methods can prove - instead of what they know - prevents them from keeping up with the accelerating pace of events. This in turn prevents them from advising humanity how serious things really are leading to both widespread misunderstanding and misplaced faith in hopelessly-inadequate ‘net-zero’ climate plans and ’solutions'.
I often focus on this problem as it rapid change in this area is possible and would have an immediate, significant impact. I receive positive feedback from many scientists themselves. My hope is the climate science community finds ways to communicate ‘live’ what they really do know - in order to provoke policymakers, the media and the rest of us into meaningful action at last.
