Every Italian Grandmother who lives OR has ever lived will be SO offended by this recipe. "This is NOT the way to make tomato sauce." I can hear them all scolding me.

In spite of that I still have to share it with you because it is UBER DELISH. I can guarantee that no Nonna will want their grandson to marry me...the manga cake. This recipe is sacrilege but I tell you it is SO worth upsetting anybody's Nonna for.

Now I cooked this in my pressure cooker. In 17 minutes you can have the UBER SPECTACULAR MEAL....but if you don't have a pressure pot you can cook it on the stove.

  • Chicken parts

  • 4 heaping TBSP of tomato paste (paste not sauce)

  • 1 cup red wine

  • 2 TBSP Balsamic vinegar

  • salt to taste

  • black pepper to taste

  • 2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

  • 1 TBSP soya sauce

  • 1 TBSP garlic powder

  • 1 TBSP dry parsley (you can use fresh)

  • 2 cups of love

  • 1 onion chopped

  • water to cover the chicken

    BOSSY INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Cook on high for 10 minutes, then quick release.

  • Add 2 cups dry macaroni noodles, stir.

  • Add more water if necessary.

  • Continue to cook on high for 7 more minutes.

  • Let the pot release on its own. Let it rest for 15+ minutes.

Grate sharp cheddar or regular cheddar cheese over the top of the dish.

(Have you ever seen orange milk? No-you-have-not! Don't buy orange cheese. It is full of food colouring. Not good for you. Buy white cheese that came from white milk. If you like the look of orange cheese than wear orange sunglasses while you eat the white cheese.)
