This is a monthly online course taught by Alan Rockefeller and myself covering fungal breeding and genetics.
I will go over phenotype hunting / breeding (traditional & forced hybridization methods such as spheroplast & protoplast fusion) including serial dilutions, dedikaryitization and obtaining monokaryotic cultures while Alan will go over microscopic features for identification as well as confirming monokaryotic cultures & clamp connections with a microscope as well as some scope tips and tricks. Alan will also give a brief introduction to DNA barcoding and explain how it is useful for home mushroom cultivators. Class is held online and will last 3 hours and be held May 18th at 7pm-10pm EST.    


Class is via discord and will have live video instruction and lots of time for questions.
