James Edgar Skye lives in Salinas, California, ghostwrites nonfiction, and has coached fiction writing for eleven years. James writes dystopian fantasy new adult with his supernatural novel Rise of the Nephilim. He was diagnosed with Bipolar 1, PTSD, and anxiety. He fostered a love of speculative fiction, writing about themes of good versus evil, pre-apocalyptic worlds, exploring the future, and the hero's journey. Launching his career with the self-published memoir The Bipolar Writer: A Memoir inspired him to create The Bipolar Writer Podcast. James will teach English in South Korea in late 2023. He loves Korean culture and food.
