I’m not sure who originally said this, but it is the best life quote I’ve ever seen.
If we break it down, it’s basically saying is the only person you should make proud is YOU!
The 8 year old you will look forward and the 80 year old you will look back, and if they are both proud of what you've achieved in the 72 years between, then you've lived a good life.
