Case Study – Crystal-Marie Sealy
The Situation – Crystal-Marie had a very compelling message about Women in Business that she was looking to get out in a big way.
What I Did – I worked with her to get her ready to be interviewed on-camera. In our PREP training session, we honed Crystal-Marie’s message by taking a look at what really distinguished her from her competitors and her approach to coaching. To devise a compelling hook and angle for the interview and keep her in control, I took her points and created customized and timed-out interview questions and answers for Crystal-Marie. Then, I taught her how to give in easy-to-understand sound-bites that effectively got her message across without her sounding salesy. I also taught her how to use her and her client’s experiences as stories. We integrated those stories, statistics, and facts into her answers to strengthen her powerful message and voice – making her more credible and persuasive. We also worked on her presentation and performance skills, using vocal, breathing, improv, and body-language techniques. Then we sharpened her image with wardrobe and professional makeup. In addition to taking professional headshots, we also filmed a 1-minute promo video about her business that I scripted for her, as well as taught her how to deliver using a teleprompter.
The Results- Crystal-Marie was confident, prepared, and in control. She didn’t have to worry about what she was saying, or how she looked. She came off polished. My team and I promoted her episode and promo video extensively for up to 60 days. She received sign-ups on her giveaway that were sent to her as leads to follow-up with & close as a bonus. She received a total of 43,465 views. Targeted, fresh, exposure.
