Closing shops during UK Lockdown

Closing shops during UK Lockdown

Mar 24, 2020

Hi friends,

Today I decided to shut down my online shops because as of last night the UK went on lockdown. Although online shops are allowed to stay open, it's technically becoming more difficult to move around and I don't want to risk spreading anything by going to and from the post office unnecessarily.

I am still open for commissions (design work and digital work) if you are interested and still have some paying work trickling in.

I have de-camped to my family's home just 10 minutes away in the countryside so I'm not on my own isolated in town, so we are in this together for at least 3 weeks.

Financially I should be ok, (depending on how long this lasts of course) but us freelancers and self-employed are still awaiting an announcement from the government as to what support will be available for us.

If you do wish to support me in anyway you can do so on my Buy me a Coffee page here: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/jezhawk

We are all in the same boat, and this is certainly not a request for money. But if you like what I post here and want to see more, then of course any donation is welcomed.

This post is brought to you today by Rampel - The Angel of Endurance - who is confident we will get through this, we just have to stand firm and look after ourselves and each other.
