I have lived with numerous forms of arthritis most of my life, with the onset when I was just 11 years old.
In 2019, I created my blog, JoelvsArthritis to share my experiences, raise awareness and to be an advocate for those with arthritis and other autoimmune conditions. I was going through a rough period with my health and I wanted others in a similar position to know they weren't alone.
In my short writing career, I have written for a number of leading autoimmune and disability charities and am proud to be a community advocate and writer for Psoriatic-Arthritis.com.
By becoming a supporter you are helping to keep the lights on at JoelvsArthritis. It costs me over £400 a year to run the website and most of my writing is done in the middle of the night around my day job and family.
We have achieved an awful lot in the brief time since I started this project. With national radio campaigns, regional BBC interviews and such like - but we have much bigger plans, that with your support, we can achieve so that arthritis is no longer considered 'an old person's disease' or inevitable with age.
So if you enjoy the content or a particular article, please consider gifting a few pounds so that we can continue with our work and raise awareness of arthritis. Many thanks.
